Praia do Penedo

Praia do Penedo is a beach along steep cliffs covered in vegetation, where pebbles and sand mix with rock formations at the shoreline. The coastal line features natural stone structures that shape the waterfront.

Access is via a partially paved road west of EN128, following a straightforward route to the parking area. Be prepared for uneven road sections and allow extra time for the drive.

The cove offers views of Pedra da Agulha, a distinctive needle-shaped rock formation rising from the water. This natural feature is visible from various spots along the shore.
