Aimeliik, Administrative region in western Babeldaob, Palau.
Aimeliik extends across 52 square kilometers of varied terrain, featuring rolling hills, mangrove forests, and traditional villages near Ngchemiangel Bay.
The region contains seven ancient village sites including Medorm and Ngchemiangel, which developed along the coast due to fertile soil conditions.
Throughout Aimeliik, stone platforms serve multiple functions in local traditions, from clan burial grounds to ceremonial meeting spaces called bais.
Visitors can reach Aimeliik's five villages through paved and dirt roads connecting to Koror, with Mongami serving as the state capital.
The state houses Palau's largest power plant and maintains extensive agricultural terraces that historically combined farming with defensive purposes.
