Muzeul Național Secuiesc din Sfântu Gheorghe, Regional museum in Sfântu Gheorghe, Romania.
The museum exhibits present natural history, archeological findings, traditional Székely crafts, costumes, and regional historical artifacts in dedicated sections throughout the building.
Founded in 1875, the museum received protection from King Ferdinand I of Romania during World War I through a military guard to preserve its collections.
The museum library holds the Apor Codex, containing the first Hungarian translation of the Bible from the 15th century, among other valuable manuscripts.
Located at Kós Károly Street 10, the museum opens Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 to 16:00 and weekends from 9:00 to 14:00.
The exterior displays include traditional Székely gates, carved funeral posts, and a fully furnished house from 1767 with original period furniture.
