Sector 2

Sector 2 is an administrative division in eastern Bucharest that comprises nine distinct neighborhoods including Colentina, Floreasca, and Pantelimon. The area combines residential zones with cultural facilities and serves as a significant part of the city.

This administrative division evolved from an original color-based system and was restructured into its current form. The sector organization developed over the 20th century to better manage the city's growing urban area.
