Mocioni-Teleki castle

Mocioni-Teleki Castle is a Neoclassical manor with 24 rooms located in Cäpälnasch. The building's design follows the style of the Petit Trianon at Versailles, displaying the refined architecture of the period.

The castle was constructed between 1876 and 1879 as one of the earliest projects by Viennese architect Otto Wagner. This early work demonstrated his emerging influence on regional architecture.

The castle library once held one of the region's most valuable private book collections during the Austro-Hungarian era. Visitors can sense the intellectual importance of these rooms today.

The property stands about 90 kilometers from Arad city and roughly 5 kilometers from Săvârșin Castle. The grounds include both the building and garden areas that can be explored.

The estate contains two distinct garden sections: one with formal Neoclassical design and another with Romantic-style landscaping. Burial monuments of the Teleki family rest on the grounds.
