The monument serves as a gathering place for annual ceremonies on March 15th, commemorating the Hungarian Revolution and the Day of Székely Freedom.
Located on Strada Secuilor Martiri, the memorial site provides information panels detailing the historical events and the lives of the Székely martyrs.
The memorial remained undamaged through the Romanian occupation of 1919, preserving its original Hungarian coat of arms depicted on crossed swords beneath the lion.
