White Church, Romanian Orthodox church on Victory Avenue, Bucharest, Romania.
The White Church stands at 110 Calea Victoriei with a single nave, two octagonal domes, and a semicircular altar apse measuring 30.3 meters long.
Built before 1700 on the Văcărescu family estate, the church underwent major reconstruction in 1827 after earthquakes caused severe damage in 1802.
The interior features a linden wood iconostasis in Brâncovenesc style and paintings by Gheorghe Tattarescu created during the 1868-1873 renovation period.
The church maintains dual dedications to Saint Nicholas and Prophet Elijah, with regular religious services held in the Romanian Orthodox tradition.
The exterior displays Neoclassical architecture with Doric influences, evident in the pilasters, frieze, and serrated cornice design elements.
