The Theodor Aman Museum showcases over 200 works of art within a residence built in 1868, featuring mural paintings and ornate wood paneling throughout the rooms.
Designed by painter Theodor Aman and built in collaboration with sculptor Karl Storck, this building initially served as both a residence and workshop until 1891.
The museum collection displays oil paintings depicting Romanian local life, alongside the artist's personal belongings and original workshop equipment from the 19th century.
Located at 8 C.A. Rosetti Street, the museum operates from Wednesday through Sunday between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM with entrance fees of 10 lei.
The building represents the first workshop-residence combination in Romania, maintaining its original architectural features and interior decorations from 1868 through present day.
