Palatul Poștelor, Historic monument in Bucharest, Romania.
The Postal Palace stands on Calea Victoriei with a neoclassical facade featuring ten Doric columns and two prominent domed pavilions at its ends. The interior spans multiple floors and displays extensive collections related to Romanian history.
Construction of the palace began in 1894 under King Carol I of Romania, replacing the former Constantin Voda Inn site. The building served as Bucharest's central post office until 1970.
The building now houses the National Museum of Romanian History, displaying national treasures and a full-scale reproduction of Trajan's Column from Rome.
The building is located in the Lipscani district, near CEC Palace. Visitors should allow several hours to explore the exhibitions spread across all floors.
A bronze statue of Emperor Trajan stands on the palace stairs, installed in 2012 as a notable addition. This sculpture draws attention from many visitors during their visit.
