Palatul Romanit, Art museum in Calea Victoriei, Bucharest, Romania.

The Romanit Palace displays architectural elements typical of the 19th century with a symmetrical facade and classical ornamental details on Calea Victoriei.

Built in 1812, the palace belonged to Greek treasurer Romanit who added luxurious interiors with marble stucco walls and rich ceilings described by writer Ion Ghica.

The Art Collections Museum exhibits 34 private donations including works by Romanian painters Theodor Aman, Nicolae Grigorescu, Nicolae Tonitza, and Theodor Pallady.

The museum maintains regular visiting hours, requires an entrance fee, and underwent major renovations between 2009 and 2010 to preserve its structure.

The palace features original Damascene silk curtains, Indian fine mats, and mahogany furniture inlaid with mother-of-pearl and gilded bronze from its initial decoration.
