Дивљанско језеро, meer in Servië
Divljanske Lake is a human-made reservoir at the base of Suva Mountain near Babusnica. The water body was created by damming the Koricnička River and covers roughly 8 hectares with well-maintained shores and surrounding forest paths.
The lake was created by damming the Koricnička River to store water for local needs. Following a dam failure in 2002 that caused the water to drain into the Nisava River, the entire structure was rebuilt and restored.
The lake sits about 3 miles (5 kilometers) from Babusnica and can be reached easily on well-kept paths. Visitors should know the shoreline is designed for walking and recreation, and summer months offer the best conditions for swimming and water activities.
The lake hosts regular fishing competitions where anglers target several species including pike, carp, and grass carp. The area attracts birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts interested in wetland bird species that are often overlooked by casual visitors.
