Парк природе Сићевачка клисура

The Sićevo Gorge stretches for 17 kilometers through limestone formations, featuring vertical cliffs that reach heights of 400 meters along the Nišava River.

The gorge contains remnants of the ancient Roman military road Via Militaris and several medieval Orthodox monasteries that date back several centuries.

Local villages in the gorge maintain traditional Serbian craft practices, producing regional wines and maintaining historic agricultural techniques in terraced vineyards.

The nature park offers marked hiking trails, rock climbing areas, and bird watching spots, with the main entrance accessible through the village of Sićevo.

The gorge provides a habitat for Serbia's last pairs of golden eagles and rare plant species, including two endemic Ramonda varieties found nowhere else.
