Nature Park Šargan-Mokra Gora is a protected forested area in western Serbia covering more than 10,000 hectares with dense woodlands, numerous waterfalls, and mountain ranges. The park encompasses parts of Tara Mountain and northwestern sections of Zlatibor, creating a landscape of steep terrain and water features.
The Šargan Pass within the park has served as a vital connection between southeastern and western Europe throughout various historical periods. This ancient route shaped regional development and remains a defining feature of the landscape today.
The ethno-village of Drvengrad on Mećavnik Hill showcases traditional wooden architecture and serves as a gathering place during the annual Kustendorf Film and Music Festival.
