Dobrunska Rijeka Monastery

Dobrunska Rijeka is a Serbian Orthodox monastery near Visegrad that includes a church dedicated to Saint Nicholas, a chapel of Saint Basil of Ostrog, and associated buildings for publishing and administrative work. The complex sits along the route toward Uvac and functions as both a spiritual center and a venue for cultural activities.

Construction began in 2004, and the monastery received official status in 2009 when monks established permanent residence there. The relocation of the regional church publishing house to the site that same year strengthened its role as a spiritual and cultural institution.

The monastery serves as a center for Orthodox publishing and cultural preservation through its resident organizations. Visitors experience how the space functions as a living hub for religious education and traditional knowledge in the region.
