Khaybullinsky District, Municipal district in Bashkortostan, Russia
Khaybullinsky District is a municipal area in southern Bashkortostan encompassing rural settlements and agricultural land spread across a sizeable territory. The landscape is shaped by river valleys and bordered by several neighboring districts and Orenburg Oblast.
This administrative district was established in 1930 as part of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic's territorial organization. Its structure and governance evolved through subsequent decades as the region developed.
The district encompasses fourteen selsoviets with fifty-seven rural localities, where traditional agricultural practices continue alongside modern copper and gold mining operations.
Akyar is the main settlement and administrative hub where essential services are concentrated. Travel within the area is primarily by local roads connecting the scattered rural communities.
Three major rivers run through the area: the Tanalyk, Sakmara, and Bolshaya Urtazymka, carving the landscape and creating distinct geographical features. These waterways influence how communities have settled and developed their livelihoods.
