Nabokov House, Literary museum in Saint Petersburg, Russia
The house at 47 Great Morskaya Street contains several exhibition rooms with personal items, including Nabokov's index cards, pencils, and reading glasses.
Vladimir Dmitrievich Nabokov acquired this Neo-Renaissance mansion in 1897 through his marriage to Elena Rukavishnikova and hosted important political gatherings until 1917.
The first floor contains specific areas such as the Phone Room, Dining Room, Library, Committee Room, and Kitchen, each displaying different aspects of literary heritage.
The museum welcomes visitors from Tuesday through Sunday between 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM, offering guided tours through the preserved rooms and exhibits.
The residence witnessed discussions between young Olga Nabokova and her childhood friend Ayn Rand, who later became an influential philosopher and writer.
