Rovenki, Russia

Rovenki is an urban-type settlement in Belgorod Oblast located in central Russia, situated across agricultural territory. It serves as the administrative center for Rovensky Municipal District and provides services to surrounding communities.

The settlement was founded in 1650 under the name Aspen Rovenёk and suffered destruction during a peasant rebellion before being rebuilt. It later underwent administrative reorganization as it passed through different districts over time.
