Lyuberetsky District

Lyuberetsky District is a municipal area east of Moscow in Moscow Oblast. The territory includes the town of Lyubertsy and several urban settlements where the majority of the population resides.

The district was created as a separate administrative entity in 1929, separating from earlier Moscow administrative regions. It grew as an industrial area, with factories developing throughout the twentieth century.

The district maintains five urban subdivisions, each contributing to the local governance through established municipal frameworks and community organizations.

The district is well connected by public transportation, linking various parts of eastern Moscow Oblast. Visitors can find a mix of shops, services, and public facilities spread across residential and commercial zones.

A factory site in the area produced railway braking systems and farm equipment until the early 2000s. This industrial site shaped the district's growth for many decades.
