Veretje-1 is an archaeological settlement in Rybinsk that contains multiple residential structures arranged in systematic rows along parallel streets. The layout shows an organized grid pattern with different house types from various building periods.

The settlement originated between the 1930s and 1960s as part of standard housing projects that reflected Soviet urban planning principles. This development phase shaped the area with buildings characteristic of that era.

The neighborhood maintains traditional Russian residential architecture with single-family homes, each allocated approximately 400 square meters of land.

The area connects to central Rybinsk through multiple bus and trolleybus routes that operate along major streets. Access to the city center is supported by regular public transportation services.

The area displays a striking mix of original timber and slag concrete structures from the early Soviet period alongside modern three-story cottages built after 2000. This blend of building styles from different eras offers insights into how the community evolved across generations.
