Construction of the residential complex began in 1930, providing living spaces for Russian artists during the period of rapid urban development in Moscow.
The buildings house art studios with high ceilings and large windows, facilitating the creation of numerous artworks by painters and sculptors.
Visitors can reach the complex by taking the metro to Aeroport Station and walking east along Leningradsky Prospekt toward Upper Maslovka Street.
The complex contains 40 art studios with specialized northern lighting systems, integrated into residential spaces to support artistic creation.
