Dvuglazka Cave

Dvuglazka Cave is a limestone cave system in the Bashelaksky Range featuring multiple chambers with mineral deposits throughout. The cave descends 165 meters underground and contains three distinct levels connected by vertical passages.

The cave contains archaeological evidence of human habitation from prehistoric times, with artifacts indicating both Neanderthal and early human presence. Excavations have uncovered remains spanning these distinct periods of occupation.

The indigenous communities near the cave maintain traditional stories about the site, incorporating it into their understanding of local spiritual practices.
