The Ozerny Forest Park extends across 1,791 hectares of land, featuring multiple lakes, extensive marshlands, and dense pine forests with trees over 150 years old.
The forest park, established in 1935 as part of Moscow's eastern green belt, contains a memorial cemetery dedicated to soldiers who died during World War II.
Local residents participate in seasonal activities within the park, including fishing for crucian carp and pike, gathering berries, and exploring winter ski trails.
Visitors can reach the park by taking an electric train from Kursky Station to Stroyka Station, followed by a minibus to the Bezmenkowo stop.
The park's wetlands function as natural water filtration systems, supporting rare plant species listed in the Red Book, including Amur cork tree and field maple.
