Roman Fountains in Peterhof

The Fontaines Romaines are two fountains in the eastern section of the Lower Park featuring marble sculptures supported by brick and granite bases. They stand approximately 10 meters tall and are defined by their classical proportions.

The fountains were constructed in 1739 and were later transformed with marble elements in the 1760s. This renovation marked the shift from temporary structures to permanent installations integrated into the park design.
