The Central Siberian Botanical Garden is a research facility spanning 1000 hectares where hundreds of thousands of plant specimens from different regions grow together. The facility was founded in 1946 and initially operated in a different location. It moved to its current site in 1964, where it developed into a major research center for regional science.
