"Q" korpusu, University building in Taganrog, Russia

The Q Korpusu is a four-storey educational and administrative building of the Engineering and Technology Academy of the Southern Federal University, at 1 Engels Street on Mayakovsky Square in Taganrog. Designed by architect P. V. Bondarenko and built by the Taganrogstroy trust, it is an example of Soviet neoclassicism. Its right wing opened on 24 October 1955 for the radio engineering faculty; the central part and left wing followed in 1958.

The building was constructed in the 1950s as part of Taganrog's educational expansion during the Soviet period. It reflected the state's focus on technical and industrial development, which was central to Soviet society at that time.

The building's name comes from its letter designation in the institute's corpus system; it served as the main building of the Taganrog Radio Engineering Institute and now houses the Engineering and Technology Academy of the Southern Federal University. Its four-storey neoclassical facade faces Mayakovsky Square, where the old School No. 3 once stood before demolition.

The building stands on Mayakovsky Square at 1 Engelsa Street, its main facade facing the square. The right wing entered use on 24 October 1955, the central part and left wing in 1958, so the plan is asymmetric rather than mirrored. Visitors should note that it is a working academic building of the Engineering and Technology Academy, not a public museum.

The old School No. 3 stood on the site now occupied by the left wing of this building and by building "D"; under the project it was to be demolished. The right wing opened on 24 October 1955 for the radio engineering faculty, the central part and left wing followed in 1958, and the state commission accepted the whole building on 22 December 1958.
