"D" korpusu, Educational building in Taganrog, Russia
The D Building houses multiple lecture halls, laboratories, and administrative offices across five floors at the Southern Federal University campus in Taganrog.
Construction of the D Building began in 1968 and finished in 1970, funded by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the USSR.
During construction excavations, workers discovered a bronze figurine of a young moose, which later inspired the design of the TRTI institute emblem.
Located at 44 Nekrasovsky Lane near Mayakovsky Square, the D Building contains student facilities including a winter garden, cafeteria, and banking services.
The structure features an enclosed walkway connecting different academic sections and contains specialized laboratories for physics and chemistry research.
