Zamzam Well, Holy well in Mecca, Saudi Arabia
The Zamzam Well is a deep and historic well located within the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca.
According to Islamic belief, it was a miraculously-generated source of water from God, which began thousands of years ago when Abraham's infant son Ishmael was thirsty.
Drinking from the Zamzam Well is considered to have healing properties, and is a key part of the Hajj pilgrimage.
The water from the well is available in coolers throughout the Grand Mosque and bottled for distribution among pilgrims.
It's one of the few wells in the world that has never dried up.
