Hajir Ismail, Sacred monument in Mecca
Hijr Ismail is a low wall originally part of the Kaaba, believed to be the burial place of Hagar and Ishmael.
According to Islamic tradition, it was built by Abraham and his son Ishmael.
It holds significant religious importance for Muslims, being an integral part of the Hajj pilgrimage.
During Tawaf, pilgrims are advised not to enter the Hijr Ismail area.
It's the only part of the Kaaba that has remained unchanged since it was first built.
