Amerikahuset

Amerikahuset is an office building in Masthugget housing both residential units and commercial spaces across six levels. It combines retail areas on the ground floor with apartments and office spaces distributed throughout the structure.

The building was constructed between 1919 and 1925 under Svenska Lloyd before Svenska Amerika Linien took over the project in 1923. It became a center for the shipping company's operations and administrative work.

The building displays early Swedish industrial design with fine stonework details at its entrance that catch the eye. These crafted elements still shape the character of the street today.

The building sits near Masthuggstorget with convenient access to public transport and tram connections in the neighborhood. Walking routes to other transit hubs remain within easy reach from this location.
