Elfviks gård

Elfviks Gård is a manor house on a scenic peninsula in Lidingö Municipality, situated across farmland with forests, meadows, and waterfront areas. The estate includes traditional farm buildings, gardens, a formal landscape with a pavilion, and low boxwood hedges overlooking the sea.

The manor was established in the 18th century and has shaped the peninsula ever since with its buildings and grounds. The formal park with its tall trees developed during this period and remains a defining feature of the property.

The property functions as a working farm where you see horses, sheep, goats, and rare Linderöd pigs cared for daily. Regular demonstrations show how farming has been practiced here over the generations.

The estate is open to visitors daily and situated close to public transportation. The level pathways through the gardens and across the grounds are easy to walk.

An English-style garden contains an orchard of heritage fruit varieties with beehives where visitors can pick fruit during harvest season. This combination of heritage fruit growing and beekeeping is rarely seen today.
