Lidingö

Lidingö is a municipality in the Stockholm archipelago that includes a main island and several smaller islets. The area spans roughly 51 square kilometers, with both land and water zones forming part of the municipal territory.

Archaeological finds point to settlement dating back to roughly 600 BC. The name Lydhingö first appears in written records from 1328, indicating a long history of human use of this island landscape.
