Villa Geber, Residential villa in Diplomatstaden, Sweden
The red-tiled Villa Geber features high-paned French windows, a stone-paved inner courtyard with marble floors, and a mansard roof facing Djurgårdsbrunnsviken bay.
Architect Ragnar Östberg designed this private residence between 1911 and 1913 for banker Philip Geber, incorporating elements from Venetian palaces and Italian farmhouses.
The property housed consul Karl Bergsten's collection of masterpieces from Titian, Rubens, and Velázquez during the 1920s within its 860 square meters.
Villa Geber stands at the intersection of Laboratoriegatan and Nobelgatan, maintaining its status as one of Sweden's most valuable residential properties.
The inner courtyard contains a miniaturized version of Stockholm City Hall's Blue Hall, complete with matching balconies and decorative marble patterns.
