Kabe sommarland, Amusement park in Jönköping, Sweden
Kabe sommarland was an amusement park in Jönköping located near the Haga industrial area, featuring multiple water slides, swimming pools, and traditional rides. The facility offered various entertainment options and amenities designed specifically for families visiting the grounds.
The park was established in 1984 by KABE Husvagnar AB and inaugurated by Governor Gösta Gunnarsson. It closed in 1995 following economic difficulties that accelerated the shutdown.
The park took its name from caravan manufacturer KABE, which shaped the location. Visitors came from across the region to use water attractions and traditional rides as a gathering place for family entertainment.
The former park grounds are no longer operational and now serve other purposes, so there are no regular visitor facilities available. The location near Jordbrovallen has shifted to different uses and potential future sports development.
A fire in September 1995 destroyed the park's restaurant building and marked the dramatic end of an era of family entertainment in the region. This event became the symbolic boundary between the site's active years and its subsequent decline.
