Paraden

Paraden is a restaurant in Östermalm housed in a 1930s building designed by architect Björn Hedvall. The establishment features two dining rooms with 40 seats total, a bar area for walk-in guests, and a separate private room accommodating up to 12 people.

The cinema opened in 1932 and became a major entertainment venue in northern Östermalm through the mid-twentieth century. Over time it transitioned from a movie house to a restaurant while preserving its original architectural design.

The space carries forward its past as a cinema into its present role as a restaurant, with original architectural details from the 1930s still visible throughout. Visitors experience this layered history in how the rooms are arranged and decorated, connecting them to Stockholm's entertainment traditions.
