Al-Jalaa Stadium

Al-Jalaa Stadium is a multi-purpose sports venue in Damascus with an artificial turf field measuring 105 by 67 meters, accommodating 12,000 spectators. It sits within a 10-hectare sports complex that also includes an indoor arena, an Olympic-sized swimming pool, and training grounds.

The stadium opened in 1976 as a central venue for the 5th Pan Arab Games, marking an important milestone for the nation's sports infrastructure. The event brought international attention to this newly built facility.

The stadium serves as home ground for two local football clubs, drawing regular crowds during the season to watch league matches and national tournaments. It has become an important gathering place for sports supporters in the city.
