Satuek

Satuek is an administrative district located in Buri Ram Province in northeastern Thailand. The area is organized into twelve sub-districts that together contain numerous rural villages and communities.

The district was formally established in 1938 as a minor district and gained full district status in 1947. This administrative change reflected growing development in the region.

The district maintains traditional Thai governance structures through twelve tambon administrative organizations that oversee local affairs and community development.

The district is centrally located among several neighboring districts, facilitating regional connections. Visitors can explore the various sub-districts to experience the rural character and communities of the area.

The population distribution across tambons shows notable variations, from Nikhom with 16,322 residents to Krasang with 4,631 inhabitants.
