Mu Ko Chumphon National Park

The park extends over 317 square kilometers, including 40 islands with white sandy beaches, limestone cliffs, and extensive mangrove forests along the coastline.

The Department of National Parks established this protected area in 1999, changing its name from Sairee Beach National Park to preserve marine ecosystems.

Local communities maintain traditional fishing practices around the islands, contributing to the regional maritime heritage of southern Thailand.

Visitors can access the park through its office at Pong Pang Village, with entrance fees of 40 baht for Thai nationals and 200 baht for international guests.

The park features Thailand's first underwater nature trail at Koh Lak Ngam, with information markers guiding snorkelers through designated marine routes.
