Suan Lum Night Bazaar Ratchadaphisek, Night market in Chom Phon district, Bangkok, Thailand
Suan Lum Night Bazaar Ratchadaphisek is a night market in the Chom Phon area of Chatuchak, Bangkok, running along Ratchadaphisek Road with hundreds of outdoor stalls and permanent shops. The stalls are arranged across a large open-air layout, with covered sections offering clothing, handicrafts, souvenirs, electronics, and food.
The market opened in December 2015 as a follow-up to the original Suan Lum Night Bazaar, which had operated near Lumpini Park before closing in 2011. The new site on Ratchadaphisek Road was chosen to serve the northern part of Bangkok.
The market is a regular after-work spot for Bangkok residents, who come here to eat dinner and browse goods in a relaxed setting. Thai street food stalls sit next to international food counters, reflecting how the city eats on a typical evening.
The market is easy to reach by MRT from Ladprao or Ratchadaphisek stations. The layout is spread out, so comfortable shoes and a relaxed pace make the visit much easier.
The complex includes a hotel and Muay Thai training facilities, which is unusual for a night market. Visitors can stay on site and walk back into the market the next day without leaving the grounds.
