Lam Nam Kok National Park

The park extends over 634 square kilometers across four districts, featuring mountain ranges, deciduous forests, and the flowing Kok River through its territory.

The Thai government designated Lam Nam Kok as a national park in May 2002, following conservation efforts to protect the natural resources of northern Thailand.

The Buddhist monastery Wat Phuttha Utthayan Doi Insi stands within the park boundaries, where monks combine religious practices with forest conservation activities.

Visitors can access multiple waterfalls, including the three-tiered Huai Kaeo with its 40-meter final cascade and the 70-meter tall Khun Kon waterfall.

The Huai Mak Liam Hot Springs within the park contain mineral-rich waters at natural temperatures sufficient to cook eggs in their thermal pools.
