Chaloem Wan Chat bridge, Bridge in Bowon Niwet district, Bangkok, Thailand.

Chaloem Wan Chat Bridge crosses the Khlong Phadung Krung Kasem canal, linking Dinso Road with Pracha Rat Sai Klong Road in Bangkok. The structure carries both vehicles and pedestrians, serving as a key crossing point between different parts of the historic district.

The bridge was built in 1940 during Prime Minister Plaek Phibunsongkhram's administration. Its name commemorates Thailand's National Day, which was celebrated on December 10th at that time.

The bridge sits near Ban Phan Thom community, where traditional nielloware craftsmanship remains an active practice in local workshops. The surrounding area features many shops selling national flags and official emblems that reflect the neighborhood's connection to state traditions.

The bridge is easily accessible to both pedestrians and vehicles throughout the day. It helps to visit during daylight hours to see the surrounding landmarks and the nearby canal clearly.

Remnants of Bangkok's ancient city walls still stand near this crossing. These ruins form part of Fort Yukhon beside Wat Bowonniwet Vihara temple, offering a glimpse into the city's medieval defenses.
