The 102-acre green space contains four interconnected lakes, elevated walkways through tree canopies, and extensive cycling paths around water features.
The area transformed from a tobacco factory site into a public park in 2004, named Benchakitti in honor of Queen Sirikit's 72nd birthday.
The park features a 275-foot diameter amphitheater that hosts performances and community gatherings near its western entrance plaza.
The park connects to Lumphini Park through a 1.3-kilometer elevated walkway and offers bicycle rentals for visitors to explore the grounds.
The park's network of lakes can store one million cubic meters of storm water while acting as natural filters for urban water purification.
