Babylon Istanbul

Babylon Istanbul is a concert hall in Şişli with a multi-level layout that accommodates standing audiences of about 450 people or seated arrangements of around 350 guests at tables. The flexible interior design allows the space to adapt to different types of musical performances.

The hall opened on April 23, 1999 with a performance by John Lurie & the Lounge Lizards and quickly became an important music stage. Since its founding, it has grown into a leading live music venue in Istanbul.

The venue presents a mix of musical styles throughout the year, including jazz, reggae, electronic music, and Turkish compositions performed by local and international artists. This programming approach creates a space where different musical traditions share the same stage.

The venue hosts performances throughout the year with international artists typically on weekends and local musicians on weekdays. Plan your visit based on the type of music you prefer and the available dates.

During summer months, the venue operates outdoor locations at beach areas like Kilyos on the Black Sea coast and near Aya Yorgi close to Çeşme. These seasonal extensions provide a completely different experience for open-air live music.
