Tanzi District

Tanzi District is an administrative area south of Taichung comprising sixteen villages spread across rolling terrain. The region combines residential neighborhoods with designated industrial zones and open land.

The area was part of Taichung County for many years until 2010, when administrative changes reorganized it into a separate district of Taichung City. This transformation shaped how the area developed afterward.

The villages here maintain their local traditions through festivals and community gatherings held throughout the year. These events reflect the residents' strong connection to their roots and shared way of life.

The district is well served by multiple stations, including Tanzi Station, Lilin Station, and Toujiacuo Station, all connecting to central Taichung. Good transportation links make it straightforward to explore different parts of the area.

The district is known for its orange groves, which have been cultivated here for generations and produce local specialties. This agricultural activity shapes the rural character of many villages.
