Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium

Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium is a modern sports venue in Beitun District designed to host large crowds for baseball games. The field stretches to about 325 feet (99 m) down the baselines and extends to roughly 400 feet (122 m) toward center field, with comfortable seating throughout the infield areas.

The venue opened in 2005 and gained international attention by hosting the 2006 Intercontinental Cup, a major baseball tournament between national teams. A second phase of construction completed in 2008 increased its overall capacity and infrastructure.
