Gongliao District, Administrative district in New Taipei City, Taiwan
Gongliao District spreads across 99.97 square kilometers in the eastern part of New Taipei City, featuring coastal areas and mountain landscapes.
During Japanese colonial rule in the early 1900s, the area operated as Kōryō Village under the administration of Taihoku Prefecture.
The annual Hohaiyan Rock Festival at Fulong Beach brings together musicians and music enthusiasts from across Taiwan every July.
The district connects to central Taiwan through two railway stations on the Taiwan Railways Administration Yilan line: Gongliao and Fulong stations.
Cape Santiago, at the easternmost point of Taiwan's main island, contains a lighthouse that guides maritime traffic through the Pacific waters.
