Chang-Gu World Trade Center, Skyscraper in Sanmin District, Taiwan.
The Chang-Gu World Trade Center rises 222 meters with an octagonal base design and features a 21-story internal atrium finished in Spanish granite.
Upon completion in 1992, this 50-floor structure held the position of tallest building in Taiwan for six months until the Shin Kong Life Tower surpassed it.
The architectural design incorporates the tai chi bagua pattern, eliminating sharp corners in accordance with traditional Chinese construction principles.
The building contains twelve elevators, five underground parking levels for 280 vehicles, and multiple conference rooms that accommodate up to 300 people.
The Grand 50 Club at the top of the tower functions as an entertainment venue managed by the Peninsula Group from Hong Kong.
