Heart of Love River Ruyi Lake

The Heart of Love River consists of two interconnected artificial reservoirs, East Lake and West Lake, linked by a bridge creating a heart shape.

The area emerged from Kaohsiung's urban development initiatives, transforming from a flood control facility into a recreational landmark in the early 21st century.

The park functions as a central gathering space where residents participate in seasonal festivals, outdoor concerts, and community celebrations throughout the year.

Visitors can access the park through the Kaohsiung Metro system, with rental bicycles available on-site and numerous restaurants within walking distance.

The lake features illuminated fountains and a white openwork railing that projects heart-shaped patterns onto the water surface during evening hours.
