The Li Family Historical Residence features a two-story building with a symmetrical layout, including a central hall, porch, and surrounding arcade built in 1931.
The residence was constructed by Li Rong, a seventh-generation descendant of the Li clan who migrated from Zhejiang province to establish their presence in Taiwan.
The architectural design merges Chinese traditional elements with Western Baroque influences, demonstrated through the stone-washed concrete facade and tiled fencing details.
Located at coordinates 22.662583, 120.279844, the residence maintains its original features, including antique furniture, an eight-legged bed, and traditional household items.
The residence took nine years to complete and stands as a physical representation of architectural transitions in Taiwan during the early twentieth century.
