Longqi District

Longqi District is an administrative division in Tainan comprising eight villages including Qiding, Tuqi, and Zhongkeng, situated at approximately 88 meters elevation. The area spans around 64 square kilometers and is home to roughly 3,410 residents across about 1,454 households.

This place began as a rural township under Tainan County before becoming a city district in December 2010. The shift marked a significant change in how the area was managed and connected to the wider region.
