Sinhua Butokuden

Sinhua Butokuden is a martial arts hall featuring traditional Japanese design with wooden beams, sliding doors, and a distinctive roofline extending over the entrance. The building now houses a local history exhibition and a bamboo museum section.

The building was constructed in 1937 during Japanese colonial rule and served as a training center for martial arts including kendo. Following the 1999 earthquake, restoration efforts preserved its original Japanese design.
